The fair takes place virtually, in a web browser, and you can join from wherever you are. PhD LIVE Virtual Study Fair takes place over two days - visit on Monday 15 February for STEM & Medicine subjects, or visit on Tuesday 16 February is for Business, Law, Social Sciences & Arts subjects. Both events take place from 11am - 3.30pm GMT.
No! PhD LIVE Virtual Study Fair is completely free. Anyone is welcome to attend and speak to the universities on the day. Our webinars programme is also entirely free of charge.

Attend webinars to gain expert advice on key topics, such as funding, research proposal writing and studying abroad. Access downloadable information from the universities’ booths, plus download your conversations with representatives for later.
Absolutely! The virtual study fair is open to all so even if you’re not sure of your plans or are still deciding if PhD study is for you, you’re welcome to have a look around. You don’t need to have specific questions as you can simply look at the university booths and attend webinars to find out more information.
Yes – you need to register to attend the virtual study fair so we can send you details on how to join on the day. No other attendees will be able to see your registration details, but university representatives will see this information when you visit their virtual booth. Registration only takes a moment and the virtual study fair is completely free to attend. Remember to register for the correct day – Monday 15 February will be for STEM & Medicine subjects, while Tuesday 16 February is for Business, Law, Social Sciences & Arts subjects.
No – PhD LIVE Virtual Study Fair happens in your browser. As long as you have an internet enabled device, you’ll be able to access the virtual study fair.
PhD LIVE Virtual Study Fair will run online from 11am – 3.30pm GMT on Monday 15 February and Tuesday 16 February. You can drop in at any time, for as long as you like! Monday will focus on STEM & Medicine subjects. Tuesday will focus on Business, Law, Social Sciences & Arts subjectsUniversities will use representatives specific to these subjects on each day, so it’s important you attend the day relevant to the subject you are interested in. You can use the keyword search function to see which universities offer PhDs in the subjects you are interested in.

In the Exhibition Hall, you can chat live with university representatives to get your questions answered. You can also save documents from university booths to your ‘virtual briefcase’ ready to email to yourself at the end of the event.

We’ll also have a range of free webinars, including talks and advice sessions – check out the agenda to view times and topics. You don’t need to pre-register for any of the webinars. Simply click into the talks at the advertised time.
